Another Year

 11/04/2010
We are having a great year.  Even in these trying times, it shows that if you treat people right, give them a fair deal and show them the respect they deserve, they will come back again and again.  We love our customers because they are the sunshine that helps grow our business.

Interesting date, 10 10 10.  Anyhow, we are back and settled in from our training in southern California.  We spent a lot of money on the trip but we sure learned a lot while there.  We always look forward to learning how to become better locksmiths and to serve you better.

Safe Opening
 8/12/2010
Safe opening last week.

We have several tricks to get a safe open without drilling it when the lock has failed but sometimes drilling is your only good opting.  This safe opened right up after we poked a very small hole in a very precise location.

After opening the safe, the back was removed, the hole was patched to be strong than before, the bad lock was replaced with a new lock and it was all put back together.

The customer was very pleased to find his safe was still under warrantee and Fort Knox was going to pay the bill.

Have a great week!

Fun Story
 6/23/2010
A guy calls me on a Sunday afternoon, says all the other locksmiths he talked to either turn the job down, couldn't do it till Monday or told him to call me (All About Locks).  He lives 45 minutes up the hill and out in the middle of no where, lost his 83 Toyota truck keys and says he thinks a raccoon made off with his keys because he doesn't have doors on his truck.  I tried not to laugh as I asked "do you still have the doors?"  he replies "Yea, they are at my mothers house in Chico."
I said "Great, I'll meet you there in an hour and I'll make you some keys off those locks.

LOL - I love being a locksmith, you never know what your going to hear next.

Reinvesting to serve you better
 6/23/2010
Last year we invested heavily in tools and equipment.  The first half of this year we invested heavily in education.  We are proud to announce our latest service: Motorcycle key generation.  As a result of education and our recent investment in motorcycle key blanks (and the use of some tools/equipment we already owned) We can now make keys for motorcycles when the owners have lost their keys, not to mention basic key copy service for our two wheeled wonders.
To say we are excited about our new line of services would be an understatement.
We look forward to serving you.

A wonderful start to this month – and a new physical year

 6/11/2010
As the month passes, another year of being in business passes as well and I look back at all that we have accomplished.  When the business began we had just enough equipment to pin locks and perform lockouts.  Today we are well equipped to perform most jobs.  As we enter a new year we are looking at purchasing some "High Security" auto equipment (Laser and Sidewinder Transponder Keys) to service the high end vehicles in our local Chico Area.  We would like to give our BMW, Lexus, and other luxury car owners an alternative over towing their vehicles to a dealership to have work done.

Thank you for a wonderful year, and allowing our business to grow and succeed as it has.

We are at your service – always.

New York here we come.
 4/17/2010
Next month we are headed to NY for some more automotive training.  Our company’s mission is to put 1) customer service, 2) quality of service and 3) continuing education, among our top 3 goals.  We are excited about “Just Cars” next month as it is among the best of the best of locksmith auto classes.

An old dog with some new tricks.
 3/11/2010
Ok, I'm not really that old. lol.  We just got back from 4 days in Southern California.  We took several locksmith classes including Biometrics, Door and hinge servicing and an automotive transponder class.  The security expo on Saturday was nice, and we just couldn’t resist the urge to visit Universal Studios while we were in town.  We learned a lot and we continue to believe the best way to serve our customers is to continue learning and growing as a company.

Mixed Bag.
 2/04/2010
We have been doing a little of this, and a little of that.  Rekey locks, safe work, replacing lost auto keys and even some CCTV.
It's nice to mix it up a bit.

It was a nice vacation, but it's back to work. Happy 2010 everyone!.

vFlyer.

We signed up for vFlyer, a nice little service that lets you set up a digital flyer and submit it to other venues. We are excited about the new ad look.

Auto Keys.
 11/15/2009
Keys, Keys everywhere. We just ordered a bunch of more keys for stock, and bought out another locksmith's "Overstock", so now we have more keys than ever before. So if you need a car key made, there is a good chance we will have it in stock (and if not, we can always order it and have it the next day).

New Investments.
 09/9/2009
We are always trying to reinvest in AAL so that we can do more, and do it better.  It seems there is an endless list of tools a locksmith can buy and the trick is knowing what tools are going to be most usefull.  We have spent almost $1,500.00 on new tools and equipment this month so we can serve you better and faster.  Man I love getting new tools to play with. =)

Wake up now.
 08/26/2009
I just wanted to give a “Shout out” to the Chico Chamber of Commerce.  I joined a few months ago and I have met a lot of good people and a lot of interesting businesses.  I have gotten jobs through them, and have recommended some of my customers to other chamber members.  It has turned out to be a great networking opportunity.  “Wake up now” is a weekly get together every Wednesday at 7:30am.  Check out the Chico Camber of Commerce for more details.

Web page Updates.
 08/16/2009
I'm going to be doing some updates to the web page.

Another Safe Opened
 08/11/2009
I have often thought about putting little black stickers of opened safes along the side of my work truck like the World War 2 pilots who painted small planes crashing to the ground on the side of their planes for each plane they had shot down.
Anyhow, I'll try and take some photos to post on the next safe opening for ya'all to see.  Maybe a nice big gun safe.

 07/31/2009
Lots of lost auto keys this weekend.  Yep, we can fix that!

Locked out!
 07/28/2009
It seems that it happens to everyone sooner or later.  If it happens to you our people will make sure you get the respect you deserve.  Yep, we do that!

Safe Job
 07/24/2009
A customer of ours had their business broken into and their safe was attacked.  The cops caught the guy in the act but not before he had destroyed the outside of the safe.  We had to drill it open.  I hate to see bad things happen to people but I do love popping open safes.

Training
 07/12/2009
I spent the weekend in Reno at a locksmith convention.  I took an Automotive class and a Life & Fire Safety class.  I look forward to these events every year so that I can learn new skills and mingle with other locksmiths from around the USA.

Personal Announcements

We registered our 4 year old for pre-school this last week.  Wow they grow up fast.  These kids bring me a lot of love and job.  I am truly blessed.

My 15 year old is taking "Drivers Training".  Is there a word for having joy and fear at the same time?  We are all proud of her.
